myNivasa is a professional interior design, house construction, and home renovation company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We offer end-to-end solutions including interior design consultation, modular kitchen installation, wardrobe design, false ceiling work, house construction, home renovation, and vastu consultation services across Bengaluru and other cities in Karnataka.
2. Services Offered
myNivasa provides the following services:
- Interior Design: Complete home interior design including living room, bedroom, kitchen, and modular furniture solutions.
- House Construction: End-to-end residential house construction services.
- Home Renovation: Renovation and remodelling of existing homes, including painting, electrical, plumbing, flooring, and structural modifications.
- Vastu Consultation: Vastu Shastra-based architectural consultation provided in association with qualified vastu consultants.
The scope, pricing, timeline, and deliverables of any specific project will be detailed in a separate written agreement or quotation provided to the client before the commencement of work.
3. Quotations and Pricing
3.1 All prices listed on the website are indicative and subject to change based on actual site conditions, material choices, design complexity, and scope of work.
3.2 A detailed quotation will be provided after an initial consultation and site assessment. The quotation is valid for the period mentioned therein (typically 15 to 30 days from the date of issue).
3.3 Any additional work requested by the client beyond the agreed scope will be quoted separately and billed accordingly.
3.4 Prices are inclusive of materials and labour unless stated otherwise. GST and other applicable taxes will be charged as per prevailing government regulations.
4. Payments
4.1 Payment terms will be outlined in the project agreement or quotation. Typically, payments are structured in stages linked to project milestones.
4.2 An advance payment is required to confirm the booking and commence the project. The advance amount will be specified in the quotation.
4.3 Payments can be made via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/UPI), cheque, or any other mode specified by myNivasa. All payments must be made to the official myNivasa bank account only.
4.4 Delay in payments beyond the agreed schedule may result in project delays, and myNivasa shall not be held responsible for any such delays caused by non-payment.
5. Project Timelines
5.1 Estimated project timelines will be communicated in the project agreement. myNivasa will make every reasonable effort to complete the project within the estimated timeframe.
5.2 Timelines may be affected by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to: material availability, weather conditions, client-side delays in approvals or payments, government regulations, or unforeseen site conditions.
5.3 myNivasa will keep the client informed of any anticipated delays and will work to minimise disruption.
6. Warranty
6.1 myNivasa provides a warranty on workmanship and materials as specified in the project agreement. Warranty periods vary based on the type of service:
- Interior Design work: Up to 10 years warranty on manufacturing defects (as specified in the project agreement).
- Construction work: Warranty as per the project agreement and applicable building codes.
- Renovation work: 1 to 5 years warranty depending on the scope of work.
6.2 The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, natural wear and tear, water damage due to external leakage, pest infestation, or modifications made by the client or third parties after handover.
6.3 Warranty claims must be reported to myNivasa in writing (email or WhatsApp) within the warranty period. myNivasa will inspect and address valid claims within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the project requirements, site conditions, and any existing structural issues.
- Ensure safe and clear access to the project site for myNivasa team members and workers during working hours.
- Obtain any necessary permissions, approvals, or NOCs required from building management, local authorities, or housing societies before the commencement of work.
- Make timely payments as per the agreed schedule.
- Review and approve designs, material selections, and quotations within the agreed timeframe.
- Communicate any changes to the project scope in writing.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
8.1 If the client wishes to cancel the project after confirmation, a cancellation fee may apply based on the stage of the project:
- Before design commencement: A nominal design consultation fee will be retained, and the remaining advance will be refunded.
- After design approval: Design fees and any material procurement costs already incurred will be deducted from the advance.
- During execution: The client will be billed for all work completed and materials procured till the date of cancellation. Any balance will be refunded or collected as applicable.
8.2 Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 30 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All designs, drawings, 3D visualisations, and creative work produced by myNivasa are the intellectual property of myNivasa until full payment for the project is received.
9.2 The client may not reproduce, distribute, or share myNivasa's designs with third parties without prior written consent.
9.3 myNivasa reserves the right to use project photographs and details for marketing, portfolio display, social media, and website content, unless the client specifically requests otherwise in writing.
10. Website Usage
10.1 The content on mynivasa.com, including text, images, graphics, logos, and videos, is owned by or licensed to myNivasa and is protected by intellectual property laws.
10.2 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.
10.3 The website may contain links to third-party websites. myNivasa is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these external websites.

11. Limitation of Liability

12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or our services, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation.
12.2 If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in Bengaluru, Karnataka, in the English language.
12.3 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

myNivasa reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
